Guys, I saw an LSR 98K bcd 45 which did not seem quite right. Priced at $7995.00 scope looked good, mount looked good, bolt had key safety, however bolt body and handle were bright, and font of bolt serial # looked suspicious. I forgot to look at butt plate for serrations. Waffenammt on stock looked fresh. Man its tuff lookin at these and saying NO!!!!!! He also had a scoped K43 at $5995.00. Regards Foxman MT

Bolt in the white, almost guaranteed a Mitchells humper...about what they sell for too....stay far, far away....

Had the same living nightmare 2 weeks ago @ a CrossRoads show in Costa Mesa, & saw it from 2 rows off. Sick.
Didn't recognize the vendor & could care less - his sticker shock ?? Only $2900.

The irony of it all: Mitchell's PO box is approx 3 miles up the freeway in Fountain Valley

Does not sound good based on your description. If I were you I wouldn't feel too bad about missing such an "opportunity". IMO - except for the very rarest variations - messed with snipers are not worth owning at anything but a bargain parts price if at all.
