Hi. I need some information on berthier carbine m16s. I saw one recently and all the serials I could find on it were matching, including the triggerguard. It is however missing its front barrel band. Everything else looks good, aside from a lack of a sling. Are the barrel bands hard to find? All that said, what should be a reasonable price range?

I collect bayonets, so I'm going about things backwards, getting guns to fit the bayonets I have instead of vice versa. Thanks for the help!

N White: Welcome to the board.... You will find this is the most often lost part on French 8mm guns. I have only seen one for sale in Germany in the last two years, and none in the US...I have resorted to making my own out of sheet steel...
