Hello-I have a 1942 Fascist XX RE M34 with a slide that's in a matt satin finish-has this been refinished post war or is this an economy 'war finish'-I tried uploading a picture but was informed the picture file was too big. Thanks

In 1942 guns were still well produced ant well finished, with a nice blue.
So a matt satin finish is a post war refinishing.
