Now that I'm almost to the age of retirement, I've been thinking about buying a nice semi-auto 12 ga. Does anyone have any experiance with the Benelli SBE or M2 Field? I would like to be able to very my shotgunning needs from upland to turkey to deer and thought the Benelli might fit the bill.

I have had a M1 Super 90 for 10 yrs or so. It is a very good shotgun and never had had any problems with it. Of the people I know with Beneli Shotguns I have heard of no problems. When I was buying this gun I did not feel the need for a 3.5" gun. A co-worker of my wife has a Montrefelo and the forearm on that shotgun is so slender it feels great in the hand.

Great guns,reliable and light recoil.A friend and his son use them for ducks/geese in high volume shooting and have no plans to replace them with anything else.

Do a search on your computer for Tom Knapp.He is the worlds greatest exibition shooter and holds many records. All he uses is benelli. I've been to a few of his shows.If I were in the market for a new 12 ga. I would go benelli.
