Sportsman's Guide advertised what they called a Belgian Pilot Shoulder Holster. You really couldn't tell anything about it's size from the photo. I ordered one hoping it might work with a Hi-Power. No-way much to small. Anybody know what it fits. To small for a Sauer 38h.

I just received my Belgian pilots shoulder holster from the Sportsman's Guide. It fit my FN M1910 pistol and spare magazine perfectly. The guide company should have included the size in their description. But it's a nice rig at a reasonable price. Even after the Belgians adopted the High Power shortly before WW2 and the M1922 after WW2 the M1910 would be a good compact pistol for issue to pilots.

I don't think Belgian airforce pilots carried the HP.
It is quite probable FN1910 pistols were issued to them.
What I do know for sure is that the FN Baby .25 pistol was official Belgian army issue, presumably as a "survival" gun but pilots also carried it as a sidearm well into the 1970's.
My uncle used to be a fighter pilot in the Belgian airforce, unfotunately he died some years ago so I can't verify with him.

Here's a few photos of the shoulder holster with my FN M1910, I also tried my FN 1900 but it wouldn't fit. The spare magazine pouch holds the 7 round M1910 magazine perfectly. It's a well made shoulder rholster and would have been a nice compact rig for pilots.
