Some time ago I acquired one of the Chilean contract Beaumont rifles in rather sad shape. It was missing the bolt, the trigger guard was broken and the trigger was bent so badly it had to be cut to remove the barreled receiver from the stock.
I have located much of what I need to complete the rifle.
Question- the pin holding the trigger in place is beveled to conform to the shape of the receiver and possibly staked. It also appears to have a screw slot on one end, but that might be a result of the pin being staked.
How does one remove this pin?
I still need an original bolt head to complete this project. The one I have is from a shotgun conversion. If any of you who bought the ones from Sarco (or where ever) could part with one, i would appreciate it.

I don't know how a Chilean Beaumont differs from the ordinary Vitali Magazine Dutch variety, but years ago I took a cut down rifle apart for parts, and looking at what I have left, I don't believe the pin was staked. For some reason, I do not find the pin in the parts I have left, so I can't positively tell, but I think I would remember having to drill the pin out.

Most of the Chilian Beaumont's have a other rearsight as normal and a "Chili" stamp in the stock also they cut the frontwood.. They have removed the Beaumont stamps. A lot of the rifles for Chili where single shot's.
Technical they are the same as the normal Beamont's.

Thanks for the responses.
The trigger itself differs between the magazine vs. non-magazine versions, but the pin appears to be the same.
I will try drilling into the pin a bit and hope I can then drive it the rest of the way out with a pin punch.I hope to be able to salvage the pin for re-use.
