Enclosed are pictures of an seldom seen double code Gustloff and Mauser 42 K98. The rifle has a host of issues such as a lot of mismatched parts. A stock with no markings of any kind and I think none were ever their. But still interesting due to the letter code.

What's with the grind job on the top of the reciever and the rest is untouched.Maybe Igor was on a strict diet of cheap vodka that day?I would figure their contempt for the Nazis would fuel their resolve to wipe all those marks clean.

fake stamp on top of the receiver that was then ground and the bolt is renumbered
