barrel markings??
I just noticed markings on my Nagant barrel too. on the right side toward the rear of the front site, is a 7, on the left side of the barrel near the front of the barrel is an M, and behind that near the read edge of the front site is a funny looking mark, a box or a square with a couple of lines curling out from it, really strange looking.
