Has anyone ever seen a "Corporate State" 1934-1938 era helmet out in the wild with the large double eagle crest that was only used during this era? I suppose they could have only been used in parades and whatnot. Just curious if there are any surviving examples out there from this short-lived period as I have a few M.95/30 carbines from this time.

There are lots of Austrian helmets around, usually mis-identified, but finding the crest will be murderously difficult.

I am fairly sure I have seen ONE. Also, the pins go through holes, and....

Long story short: I'd be looking for a set already set up and mounted.

Don't think these saw much use.

As You could see similar emblems would be problematic on combat uniform, so i assume this is a presentation or guard unit, the eagle is typical for Staende Staat and correct for Your period 1934-38. I assume they are M16 helmets with additional emblem on it. The Stutzen M95/30 with NCO bayonets are attached probably.
