A little over 1 year ago I acquired an Astra 900. I disassembled it to find the only non-matching serial numbered part was the tangent sight. I did shoot it a little (only one or two rounds at a time as I lacked stripper clips) did no not recall any problems.

Earlier this month I had the chance to shoot it a little more, now that I had clips, and while it functioned fine there was a problem with the tangent sight. As I was shooting I noted it would back out of its mount only to slide back in on subsequent shots. This seemed to happen randomly. When I finished shooting I noted it was stuck out as seen in the photos below.

Is anybody familiar with this problem or how to go about fixing it?

wrong sight, maybe from a Mauser; or weak spring.
