Hey everyone, I have a Arisaka that was sporterized and was looking to find out more about it. I believe its a Type 99 but there are some characteristics that throw me off. I dont believe it to be a last ditch bc it does still have the adjustable rear sight and a cup metal buttplate. But it does not have a protected front sight. If anyone knows more about this rifle let me know! Also discovered that the firing pin spring was missing so i ordered one. Also does not have a dust cover for the bolt. Its a family friends rifle and i want to offer a fair price for the rifle so let me know what yall think its worth!!! Thanks in advance!

Its a Kokura. The front sight has been modified, protective sides cut. It is in fact a type 99 7.7x58 . Its too far gone for a restoration. $150-200 is fair offer for a shooter. My 2 cents
