This Loewe made Model 1891 rifle was among a group of rifles I recently acquired. The rifle is all matching including the cleaning rod. The bolt on the other hand is all matching to itself, but different from the rifle. On the bright side it's in excellent condition and still has the Argentine crest.

According to information I have gathered This "G" prefixed rifle was made in 1894.

That's a real nice looking 1891 and a tough one to find. Every one that I've seen had the crest ground.

Nice! Don't see too many long rifles in that condition still with the crest.

I'm jealous. I've NEVER seen one with crest. Or matching rod, for that matter.
