Here are the pics of my latest aquisition, what I think is a nice PFM 71 with an early hilt. The regimental markings are not matching and I could use some help on identifying the markings. On the bayonet the markings that I can see are; 22.E ( or possibly F).2 not sure if any are worn off or not. Markings on scabbard are; 12.AF.7.118.​

The PFM 71 should read 22.P which is the Saxon 22nd Pionier Regiment.
The scabbard is from a Saxon Artillerie Faschinen Messer with a marking from the 12th Artillerie zu Fuss (Foot artillery regiment).

I knew the it wasn't the proper scabbard for the bayo, but for what I have in it, it made no difference to me, thanks for the info though and you were right upon closer exam it was 22.P.2
