The FRF1 (and FRF2) are completely different from the MAS 36. I would be suprised if you could swap a single part between the two.

There is no such thing as an official MAS 36 with an optic, but you could build a FRG2 clone.

The FRG2 is based on the MAS 36 action and was (is?) used by the French Air Army as a sniper rifle. In short, it is a MAS 36 action with an FRF2 bipod and stock.

So what sniper did France use in ww2. Just captures?

At the beginning, they were using old Lebels with a scope, like this one:

At the end, they were using 1903 A4s, provided by our generous friends from the USA.

The next step, after WWII, was the MAS 49 (and later 49/56) with an APX scope. This is the one that was used a sniper until the FRF1 was made.
