I was 7 back in 1969... I remember my parents kept turning off the TV because of all of the violence and "lewd images" being shown at the time. Hippies, demonstrations, etc. But I also remember watching the televised moon walk on our 15" B&W TV set... we always watched whatever channel had Walter Kronkite.
