First and foremost, this webpage and those who post are absolutley invaluable to me. The information recieved and collected is and will all always be appreciated. I can only hope the knowledge I absorb here can be passed on to other indivduals. Thank you, your studies and interests have found a captive audience.

Guys I bought an Enfield and am wanting to know some history behind it. The story I got was a individual was selling his private collection. This enfield was on the shelf for hours before it was sold. Anyhoo, here are the pictures. View attachment 519060 View attachment 519061

A very nice Canadian Long Branch No.4 Mk.1.* Looks like the original wood has been replaced. It has an early (2L) serial number, so would be Early 1942 production. Long Branch bolt head.
