Hi,

Any original ammo out there & how much ?

Anybody making modern ammo?

From my reseaarch so far, I've seen references to dies, bullet molds, and raw brass stock capable of being formed into finished cases.

I'll bet you'll want to reload for that. Buffalo Arms is THE source for components and tooling.

Not a difficult cartridge to reload. May cost a few bucks to get started, but pretty easy. A fun rifle to shoot and a head turner at the range.

obsoleteammo.com charges $65 for 20 rnds. 11mm Beaumont.
Friend of mine uses .457 bullets (very common) Buffalo brass & 45 Long Colt die to neck size.
I ended up buying a full set of dies for $150, reformed 50-90 Bell brass from Buffalo
and local cast soft lead 350 grn. bullets.
