Unfortunately Petrov is right. what our institutions of "higher learning" are turning out is graduates, many of which cannot even fill out a job application because they learned damm little in school. Those foreign workers did not get the same breaks in their schools, and consequently they are able to do the highly technical jobs that our studentsa cannot qualify for because they were "peer promoted" ie; even if they failed their courses, they were moved on cause we didn't want to hurt their feelings by holding them back.
I would also mention classes are far tougher abroad than here.
