Went to a the antique show at warrarinton, Texas today an lucked into this all matching vet bringback that had been bubbaed. The all matching stock had been cut about five inches behind the rear band and the upper hand guard hade been cut down to match. ground the sling loop off and glued it on. Terrible waste to an all matching rifle. Stock had the serial numbers and all markings in side the channel. It is a 1940 code 42 100% all matching. The stock was a laminated with flat buttplate. Paid 175.00 for it.

Good pick up!
I found one this summer at a shop for about the same price. It all matched except the Monte Carlo stock. I got a good deal on a stock that someone didn't need to complete the rifle.
Fortunate on both deals.
