Almost done with my upgrade of my 10B....got her painted in a black epoxy, changed out the wood with a Russian set I been sitting on for years, changed out the crapy q.d. bipod with a Russian one, cut off the cary handle. All I need now is a smooth un-numberd top cover and a Russian sling, maybe a set of night sights.

Thought I'd post a pic. of her...shes lookin real purdy

I have owned two NHM-91s and neither would feed HPs of any kind. Kind of turned me off to long barreled AKs.

Yours makes we kind of want one...

I'd jump on that one...Got mine for $489.00 , so thats a good price for a "gettin hard to get" AK.

I agree $479 is a good price current pricing for the shop is within $10 of that so it's an early one before the price increase. I really like mine as well although I just prettied up the Romanian wood and added the RPK bipod, in my one time taking her out she was 100%. My drum is a Chinese so even that doens't look quite as good as your (but it is easier to load ). Beautiful rifle you got there for sure...

A saiga top cover is smooth and un-numbered and might be worth a look as a lot of guys convert those into AKM clones.

Anybody know what the most reasonable distributor price is? And are these built on a Romanain 1.5mm RPK style receiver, or are these built on a NODAK RPK receiver like the Century Yugo RPK's?

Romanian RPK AES-10B prices

I am taking this right out of the April/May flyer from J&G Sales. They show Romanian RPK AES-10B for $379.95 on page 2. I attached an image, I hope that's OK mods. If not let me know and I'll remove it.

Quite a price drop since I got mine in Oct. of last year, I rescued one from a pawn shop in Feb. for $370.00...not new but ima rework it anyway.

Paid $479 for mine as well...fun rifle and I've reworked the CAI trigger to where its a decent 2-stage thats nice and crisp.

Here is my old pic...it now has been painted in black enamel so the colors match and I've added a Russkie sling...

my ES10B

jeremy, when did you get yours. i got mine a couple of months ago from AIM, 399. it came with an excellent trigger, tapco G2. it ain't broke so i ain't fixin' it. i've done nothing but put a brake on it and shot it.
