Ok fellas,
I think someone has told me before(in many ways) what the value of one click adjustment of the windage sight is. You know the early windage adjustable rear sight . If my impact is striking left do i wind to left to bring it right or the other way around. Just a dumbarse ex grunt who should have written it down before
Cheers

I know I'm going to have to write this down for you and put it in your tool kit one day!
To remember which way to move a sight to correct impact, work off one thing.

Start with the rear sight.
To move impact up, you move the rear sight up.
Therefore it follows to move impact left, you move the rear sight left.
Impact follows the rear sight movement.

Front sight is the exact opposite.

Windage sights.
Apparently each division represents 6 inches at 100 yards.
I just checked and it takes 6 clicks to move across 1 division.
So 1 click = 1 inch at 100 yards.

SO in final answer to your question, if impact is left and you want to bring it right, you wind the adjustable windage sight to the right (wind anticlockwise) to bring impact onto p.o.a.

Simple hey?
Shame about the Queens mate.

No.1 Mk111 windguage

...and the thing to remember about that No.1 Mk111 windguage is that the knob moves THE OPPOSITE WAY to that of your Central or most target sights. So when you make a windage correction THINK THINK AND THINK again to avoid disaster... :)
