Obviously a modern French double of good quality. Made in St Etienne after 1901 and proofed with smokeless powder. However, there have been more than 20,000 French shotgun names, just like hardware store guns in the US.
It's a nice looking piece, but breech is very loose. Looks like hook has a lot of wear,hinge is tight.Bores are perfect,doesn't look like it's been fired hardly at all.
65 mm chambers is why I guess. US 2 9/16"
I read someone makes paper shells repro for these but this one is too loose to fire in current condition.
