This started out as a common 1918 Artillery luger.

Then it was police marked ---> 1920 on the top of the chamber

(Sometimes referred to as a double date.)

Then it was issued to the Weimar navy (markings on rear grip strap)

Nice!

Does that mean that it was originally issued with a wood buttstock?

Forgot to mention I have a Wiemar artillery holster to go with it. I acquired the holster at a different time.
