Saw a Ruger LCP with a .32 NAA custom barrel installed at Innovative Arms Custom Gunsmithing website. That got me thinking about how handy a Ruger LCP or a Kahr 380 converted to 9X18 would be for CCW when weather and clothing make it hard to conceal. I already have three 9X18 pistols and I use and hate the thought of taking on another caliber (380). Does anyone know if either of these tiny pistol could handle the Makarov round?

Thanks:MoMaks

Neither the Ruger or the Kahr can easily be converted. The pistols themselves could MOST LIKELY be made to work, however both pistols mentioned have a very tight 380 Only magazine, that will not fit the slightly larger 9x18 Round (Yeah I tried....) So you would have to make a new magazine, and prob. open up the inside of the magazine well on the frame also.

That said, both pistols have been converted to .32 NAA with grat success.
