Lee.........I would think it is very easy to ruin you gun trying to increase the size of the chambers case neck unless you did a chamber cast and had a custom reamer made for your rifle to achieve such.
I would just try case neck turning. I have found Remington brass to have a considerable ammount of run out in the case neck wall thickness anyway. Case neck turners are cheap compaired to trashing you barrel. I have one made by Hornaday that work quite well.
