Got an opportunity to buy 2 cases of 70-80s what i am told is Yugo sniper ammo. What is this stuff selling for or worth and how do I idenify it as M75 and not just 70-80s yugo?
According to the internets, green tip is tracer.Ok so i bought all this stuff he had. Many differnt types including some romaninan and turk, 1939 greek and yugo. Ended up with 2362 rounds + 100 unprimed 7.5x55 graf brass. I figure I came out somewhere around .17-.20 round with the brass factored in.
The question i have is there are 43 boxes of Yugo M70 with green slash across the box and green tips on bullets. It is headstamp nny and 1971. I cant find any info on this. What is it? Is it worth anything differnt than the M49 stuff?
Also had alot of Yugo 1981 green steel case stuff.
IMO value is probably about $10/$15 box of 15 rounds. M70 Yugo generally traces about 100%. There are states where tracer is illegal and fire danger is always present when shooting tracer. Tracer cartridges are generally less accurate than standard ball ammo, especially as ranges increase. JHDoes this have any effect on the accuracy of it? and is it worth anything more than say $4 box?
