There's a current Gunbroker advertisement for 2 Russian magazines for $25 with shipping included. I see mak magazines commonly listed on GB or Auction Arms and if you're patient you can find some good deals.

Or post a WTB on Slim Tim's makarov Trader.

What's the difference between a Russian, German, or whatever other magazines? A real newbie question I know, but I just want to make sure I'm correct in what I think.

Makarov Magazine

There is no difference between a Russian, East German, Chinese or Bulgarian Magazine. All will fit in each other.

An East German Magazine Looks like this

BTW: the 9X18 and .380 round BOTH can be used with these magazines. Remember though to only fire the right round with the right Makarov.
