Being a bit green here on this board I gotta ask: is there a specific forum for French ammo reloading?
Look for 150 gr M2 bullets pulled from de-miled USGI .30-06 rounds. They have a flat base, and when seated to the cannelure, they are pretty darn close to the COAL of the Mil-spec rounds. I think I got mine from Pat's Reloading or GIbrass.com.So the search continues for a flat-based FMJ (or Nosler Ballistic Tips) around 150g. I don't want to depart too far from the military 139g.............
Thanks again, Guys. What a Gold Mine this board is proving to be!
Ok, I am still waiting on 7.5 x 54 ammo the privi stuff to measure the bullet. .308, Thanks
That's good to know - here I was thinking that I'd have to have one made special. Now if you can suggest a collet neck sizer...The Lee factory crimp die can be bought independently of the die set, and can be used with any other brand you favor, if you already own a RCBS set in 7.5x54, you need to buy only the Lee factory crimp in 7.62x54R.
Only possible worry is if the RCBS shell holder is of a different height than the Lee, as the factory crimp die is activated by the top of the shell holder.
