hOW do I look at those markings and tell?
Do you see three letter after 7,62? Those letters are LPS:
L light (~147 Gr.)
P projectile
S steel

The copper stuff is from experience, SG has this same ammo and cases are copper plated.

Country of origin is the logo, 10 in a circle or it can be interpreted 10 in two circles. Anyway. That logo belong to the factory in Bulgaria, located in city called Kazanlak.

I used the ammo guide on 7.62x54r.net...I believe the stuff tested actually weighed in at slightly over 148 grains...thus my reply...but as ij pointed out it is listed as 147 grain light ball.
Should shoot well.

It's a lacquered case, not copper washed. The "ГС" indicates that. If it were copper washed it would be "ГЖ". If you open it I would like to buy a bundle of it for my collection. [email protected] Thanks.
Then what is this :
