I recentle purchased a T/C .54 Hawken used for 200 and the barrel is badly pitted. I see .54 T/C Renegade barrels but very few Hawken barrels. Does anyone know irf the Renegade will interchange with the Hawken stock? I want a drop in fit!

It should, you may have some minor fitting, if any. The Renegade and Hawken, as near as I can tell, are essentailly the same rifles. You could also look at a Green Mountain barrel, supposed to be a drop in fit, but more expensive. Or you could have your .54 barrel rebored to .56 or .58.

Hawken barrel is 15/16" and the Renegade barrel is 1" across the flats, so they will not interchange.

Danny Whitacre of "Whitacre's Machine Shop" (you can "Google" his website) can bore your rifle's barrel out to .58 and rifle it with three land and groove rifling.

Green Mountain has drop in replacement barrels for T/C Hawkens. So does Track of the Wolf.
