Here is my 44 U.S. SN 100035. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but a suspect it will shoot as good as it looks. How this rifle managed to avoid the molestation over the years is remarkable. Correct Lyman 57MS peep is also pristine. I own two early 44's now.....number 212 and this one. I also have two grandsons so I figure the oldest will get 35 and the youngest will get 212!!!
