I just found some WWII pics of my grandpa stationed in Hawaii. In one of them, he is near a sign that says "308th Aerodrome". Does this ring a bell with anyone? I am looking it up in memorial for him. All info is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, the photo is in Hawaii. Actually, there are a lot of pictures of him in Hawaii, including one that looks like he is leaning on the wing of a transport plane.
