Refresh my memory. I am in discussion on some 1944 south african .303 ammo. 174gr cordite. Is it good bad or indifferent? Sellable? Reliable?

ammo

Everything is sellable. Drop me a PM.
I was shooting in an old bolt gun match one time, using 1916 Cordite ammo. There was no wind, and the acrid smell and volumes of blue smoke from my No.1 were hanging in the air. Some wise guy down the line yelled "Who's shooting the black power?"
Ah, the great un-washed. That ammo is still the best shooting stuff I've got. From Century in 1983, in 1,000 round pasteboard boxes. You could buy a rifle, a bayonet and 1K of ammo for $69.95, plus shipping. (and I did!)
Some say that cordite will cause excessive throat erosion, but I don't let that bother me.
