I seen it on the TV The case size is same as 300 sav with same FPS as a 30.06. (The FPS is 3000 fps with a 150 gr bullet) Why buy a 30 TC just load your 300 sav or 308 to that FPS? They say its all in the powder. Anyone no if this is safe? And what kind of powder is it?

No, you can't. The reason is that the new .30 TC is loaded with a proprietory powder that isn't for sale to reloaders. This powder was developed specifically for the .30 TC to get 30.06 performance with .300 Savage pressures. If this powder had been available 100 years ago for the .300 Savage the .308 may never have been born!

Why "300 Savage Pressures"? Is this new round intended for weak actions? I thought the whole idea was to get high velocitys in a short, medium capacity cartridge case. Pressures are surely in the 30-06 or .308 range if not a bit higher, no????
