Before the winds kicked up to 35+ mph, I took a couple VZs that I hadnt fired to the range today. A 1937 accepted VZ 24, a SCW VZ23? and an old 1943 Bardejov model. I started with the VZ 23 and a box of Winchester 170gr. Power Point at 75 yds. The VZ24, I was comparison shooting between Romanian, Yugo and Winchester, again at 75 yds.

Your SCW rifle is a VZ24. Many were made around 1935 using old, previously rejected receivers with the old curved markings.

GELADEN:....Thanks for the input, its appreciated. Guess Im still looking for a 23 though.

PAUL:...I only live a mile and a half from the range and get up there about three times a week. It helps to relieve the stress of the everyday.

ANDY:........I didnt say it was a rifle. What I said was
an old 1943 Bardejov model
That would be what is pulling the trigger. My Date of Birth was Februar 10th 1943. My family was from Bardejov. It was sort of a joke.
