has happened to my nephew last 3 times he's shot. wolf, silverbear and reloads were fine, tulammo would not eject.

It has a coating that can build up in the chamber --- happens over time regardless and it happens FAST if you burn out the mags with "rapid fire" causing the gun to get hot which melts the coating off the steel faster.

So, time to clean your gun, and if you plan to shoot it fast, try another brand. I have had good luck with several calibers of silver bear, its a good product.

In my case it was through a spotless new chamber. It was the ammo. It got it in WM and decided not to pay attention to the lot number.

The bolt would ride back, not fully, and try to load new round w/o having ejected the fired case.

I shoot alot of Tula 55gr .223. I get about 2 to 3 stuck cases per 500 shots. I only clean my gun every third range trip. Some guns seem to like it some dont. My carbine has a 5.56 RRA barrel and I run it pretty greasy. Guns with true .223 rem chamber seem more prone to sticking. When they stick its a matter of pulling the charging handle back while giving the butt a thump on the bench and out they come. Its dirty ammo but its cheap for regular plinking at the range.

it wasn't a dirty gun. the ammo in some places is advertised as hot, but i think not. of the russian, i also prefer silverbear. i'm going to try a box of tulammo just to see in my rifle. i won't buy any unless it's 4 bucks a box. i have no complaints with wolf, silverbear or brownbear.

The cases aren't bare steel, there is a poly coating. But that's not the problem, IMO.
Yep, I can't imagine where anyone got the idea they are bare steel. The poly coating has been blamed for all sorts of ills but I also agree it's not the problem. In one of my AR's the Tula stuff causes failures to extract and/or feed about every 5th or 6th shot, it's a shame too because the stuff is actually pretty accurate out of this rifle. Fortunately I didn't buy a bunch of it, but that pretty much ends it for me and Tula .223 as the rifle in question will digest any brass cased ammo with no problems whatsoever.

This is the stuff right here, Polymer Phosphate coating: http://www.dagammo.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=6

if it's poly coated, it must be real thin. i just looked at some very close, seems lightly painted to me.

Send all your unused Tula (and WPA and Golden Tiger, etc etc) to me and I'll shoot it all the live long day...both in my Bushmaster as well as my AK's (plural)...can't beat $5 a box vs almost 3 times that if it shoots just fine...I must be lucky, I guess..

No issue whatsoever for me either. I have shot several thousand rounds of Tulammo .223 (55gr, 62gr, FMJ, HP) in my Colt AR, Daewoo, Galil, Mini14, AR180, .... Don't remember a single FTF, FTE. I also shot at least couple thousand rounds each of Tulammo .45 (in various 1991 types and Sig P220) and .308 (in FAL, M1A, CETME, FR8, 2A1,…) with same experience. No complain here.
