it has the crossed sicle and hammer on top front of chamber(Izhevsk crest) , 1891 rear sight style with russian range anchorments on left side of rear sight, serial number 9341. i will try to figure out how to get pictures on site. it also has the hex reciever.

1931 could be dragoon or 91/30. they made em both ways that year. If it is 29 inches, it'd be a shame, as the barrel would have to be cut down. y'all have a good day, Keith

it has the finnish boxed sa stamped on the left side of the barrel shank. every place ivd looked and can not find where they cut one to 20 inch barrel. shortest one ive found was a 27inch barrel.

Best guess- "Finncub" sporter. In the 60s, many Finnish rifles were cut down to shorter barrels and stocks and sold for circa $9.95. Picture would help.

Hmm, a cut down MN with SA marking....must be a ulaani carbine. ;)
Not dated 1931. Ulaani's were all made from 91's.
