Whats the most a guy would expect to shell out for a 1954 Tula with box, accs and matching # that for as far as he knows is a non refurb? (white bolt)

Bolt in the white does not mean that it hasn't been rebuilt. Look for a diamond or square with a diagonal slash on the top cover. There are different levels of rebuilds...some wood and metal, some metal only, some wood only. For a 1954 Tula, $300 should be tops anywhere. Around here, it's tough to move one for $250....different prices for different parts of the country.

If we are talking about the same set, then we are talking about K.B.I. imported Soviet SKS. If I understand the situation at the time right, these carbines came in wood crates (same as mosins, AKM, etc.) and then were "repackaged" by K.B.I. I think they were not covered in storage grease since they came from Russian DoD storage.
