First thought is that you're going to get blasted for using "Izzy" on the Boards here, but what is it that you want to know? Is it a sniper or ex-sniper, or just how many are around (quite a few)...You'll have to elaborate a bit more...:confused:

Those and the 1942s are the most commonly found 91/30s, due to high wartime production rates. Instead of rehashing what's already been recorded, check out www.mosinnagant.net and http://7.62x54r.net.

Shy-That is one beautiful stock--Forget what's common or not, if I found any rifle with a stock like that I'd get it.

That is what I think it is anyway. Any thoughts?
They are common, but I like them. I think having at least one wartime 91/30 enhances a Mosin collection, especially if it has all of the rough machining marks. Really puts things in perspective.
