Received from Classic, I believe it has original stamped mount it matches x'ed out scope serial on barrel. Above x'ed out scope number is a somewhat flat spot maybe a scrubbed scope number? The current scope number is only electro-penciled on mount. Why is the rifle serial number stamped on receiver is this something that Tula or IO did at refurb or at import?

Interesting as scope, mount and barrel have same stamped number but then xxx'd out on scope & mount for some reason, then scope number by manufacturer is EP'd on mount.

Seems to me , pushing mystery of this behind, the parts were matched before refurb and then matched up again . In my mind the rifle has more "originality" than most PU sold today.

I like the reinforced stock, I'd like to have such a stock on mine. Just the ticket for serious hard shooting use .
