I recently got a hold of a winchester model 24, only problem is that some one cut the barrel down to a 16 inch which is a little bit under the legal limit I was wondering if any body had any idea of were i could get another barrel or of what i could do to restore it, the gun is in pretty good shape just has a couple chips in the stock and the barrel is sawed of but overall i think it is still in good condition and might be restorable

Briley in Houston MIGHT be able to help. I would separate the barrels and action and keep them WELL apart - to include, if somebody sees the tubes pending a fix, saying "No, I don't know where the action is, thank goodness..."
