Retake of some pictures of my '36 S/147. They do show a bit more detail than the previous pics. This rifle has really nice wood and is covered in proofs. It is the second rifle from the top of the four K98's pictured together.

Appreciate the comments! I've got several more Sauers, two Ermas and one 1938 '237' Berlin Lubeck to post in the near future. It's a good reason to pull them out of the safe and get some sunshine. I'm glad that the rifles may add to the pool of knowledge on gunboards, the members here have certainly helped me in my knowledge about K98's. Great organization!
