Lately I've been focusing on Spanish Civil War rifles, and especially the already complied list of 1936 and 1937 dated SCW M91/30 serial numbers. There are some pretty strong patterns that have developed, and I want to take this a step further. So I'd love it if people could post the serial number of their 1936 or 1937 dated M91/30's and the history of that rifle based on what they can tell. I'd be interested in whether that rifle stayed in the USSR and was refurbished, was captured by the Finns, went to a Soviet satellite post-WWII, or anything in between! I feel this will help with my SCW research and help define possible serial number ranges a bit more. If anything it will be very interesting to see where these rifles ended up, even if no real patterns are developed!

1936 Tula M91/30 Hex receiver. Serial 122225. One of the recent import refurbs.

1937 Izzy. Serial no. 226507. Century Arms import has not been redone. Good stock with nice clean bore
and mismatched bolt.

Even though my rifle is in the SCW survey, I'll say that there's still a possibility it was not an SCW rifle. It's a 1936 Tula, no import markings, all factory matching, non refurbished rifle #218086. Pics are in the SCW survey, post#35.

Mine is a 1937 Tula, post war refurb in a laminated stock. Likely Ukraine due to refurb mark. SN: 140887
