This is the second of two rifles I found Friday. This one is an all-matching Danzig rifle made in 1917. Suspect it has been rebuilt for WWII. Nice bore, nice stock. Just a few pics of this one.

What do you think the value of a rifle like this is?

Stock markings are important to value. It has the updated sights and I am guessing a new barrel. These are nice rifles and under appreciated, they sell for considerably less than a comparable Gew98 still in Imperial trim. If it is all matching including the stock and the stock markings are clear, I would estimate $1200 to $1400.
There is a gentleman on the K98k forum who follows these very closely. Post this there and you will get better advice than mine…

IN my experience they are collectable but way less than a WW2 example.....

I would agree with the above value on the right day and to the right buyer......

I have seen milsurp prices coming down alot since last summer.....

Dealers are still asking sky high prices but items are not selling.......
