The stock has been replaced. Still, for $975, pretty decent, considering the bayonet and sling come with the deal.
Pre-WWI RIAs should have a CN/date - JFC was a Springfield Armory inspector (J.F. Coyle).
The bayonet has been refinished, but still adds @ $200-300 to the work of the "package".
