What is the value of this Luger? Serial number 9520. The end of the magazine where you grip to remove it is made of plastic. The magazine appears to be the same age as the pistol. Did any of these mags come from the factory as plastic instead of wood? The caliber is 30 Luger. Please see pictures attached. The pictures are not good quality but it's the only ones I have.

Luger AE value

Just based on pictures you posted, I would guess $1500-2000. Better pics are needed for a better estimate of condition and price
All 1900 Luger mags were wood bottoms.

There is no GERMANY under the 9520 serial number. Someone said it has been ground off to make the pistol appear to be a US Army test pistol. The 9520 number on the frame is hard to make out. How much will this affect value? Thanks for your response.
