I had a 1943 Husqvarna M38 a couple years ago but sold it, when this one was offerred to me I had to grab it. 100% matching, including the stock & handguard. I'm hoping to pick up some ammo tomorrow from Sportsmans' Guide so I can take it to the range on Sunday.

Thanks again "Dr. Fever" !!

I love my 1899 CG 96/38. It is my favorite rifle to shoot.
Nice 96/38 you have.

What a score! That rifle will kill anything up your way that needs killing, even if it is made of paper! It is hard, no, impossible to go wrong with a 96 Swede in any configuration.

And if the ammo seems expensive...that is only because it is worth its price.
