I've got an 1895 45-70, so I'm familiar with Marlins big bore lever gun, but I'd like some input on the 94s. specificly the 41 Mag 1894FG. I've heard hard cast bullets generally work okay, some say it's ammo sensitive but what say you?
I've never even picked up a Ruger 96/44, so tell me about them, or any other pistol mag caliber carbines that now qualify for Indiana's deer firearm season.
Thanks for any advice you can give me!
