is there ny way to id a repro over an original? Here are some pics. Any idea as to what I should offer?

Pull the lock and barrel out and see if the undereside and backside matches finish and wear. See if the stock underneath could be that old. You have to use your detective powers on these. How is the nipple area. That area should show a little pitting I would imagine. From here is looks good.

It looks original from the condition, but it has a '61 rear sight. The sear screw is probably a replacement. You need to post a lot more picture with details for a proper evaluation.

Looks original, as far as can be told from the photos, although not in the best of shape. The cleanout screw is NOT original to a Model 1863, though, and appears to be somebody's idea of a later "improvement" to aid in cleaning.

Yup, some dolt drilled through the 1863's bolster to add a cleanout screw... the collectability is totally gone on this one. Wait and spend your money on a better specimen.
