Hey guys,

I've been looking at a Husqvarna .22 to buy, its either a 1622 or 1722 and seems like a good deal at $150 but the magazine is missing. Does anyone know of a source for these mags ? or perhaps another .22 magazine that could be modified to fit this gun ?

I've found a post on the old gunboards forum on how to convert a remington 511 clip, <http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?t=2958> could someone perhaps provide me with some photos of husqvarna clips to work from ?

That was my post. I have the pictures stored on CD somewhere. I believe they expired on the forum. I will try to relocate them and repost for you. Not difficult to do, just takes a little patience.

Replacing 622/1622/1722 Clips

On some guns you will need to file down the back end of the magazine body just a touch to get proper clearance for the bolt to strip the round.

Last picture show the new knotch cut in for the Huskies. You will need to fill the groove above and below that cut and file a sharp knotch for the clip to catch just right.

I used acraglass with black die. Solder, JB Weld probably some other things would suffice.
